There are so many great aspects of student life, but the best part is just being able to go to school and do different social activities with all sorts of different people.
Some popular spots for students like to hang out, I'd say the DJ Lombardo Student Center for sure. Very central point of campus, leading students to the dining hall, and also back out to the quads or to class. The atrium of the Dolan Center for Science and Technology. Always a lot of students hanging out there chatting between class, prepping for a class.
A few of my favorite spots are right on top of the Dolan Science Center. There's a little balcony with some picnic tables up top. Not too many people know about it. So it's always the place that I like to go, especially in the fall whenever it's really pretty outside. Everyone's hanging outside, having a good time, really a great campus atmosphere
Campus has a good balance of green space and buildings. We have our Dolan Center for Science and Technology and separating that with the Administration Building is one quad. Between the Administration Building and the Chapel and some of the residence halls is another quad.
There's also a brand new patio right outside the student center that's a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee, or do some homework, catch up with some friends. All sorts of new fun furniture out there to take advantage of.
I think my first impression when I toured John Carroll was just the beautiful old architecture of campus, especially in the fall when all the colors of the leaves are changing. The scenery is just so beautiful to be around.
